As promised below are some photos from the zoo! We had so much fun. Tried to get Nash to nap before going but that didn't work so we headed out to the zoo at like 10am, got there at like 11am and started with some free fun things for the kids. Tippy cups and ice cream. Then we went to see the animals, more about that below. We then had lunch and the kids played in the field, Wyatt went in a bouncy house and had alot of fun. Nash found a stick (See below) and had fun with that. Yay for easy entertainment. HAHA! There was some prize raffles but we didn't win. Aw shucks! Went to the zoo store and Wyatt picked out some fun plastic animals. Nash fell asleep at like 1:30 in the stroller and we left around 2:30pm. Nash stayed asleep when we transferred him to the car and Wyatt fell asleep on the way home.
James and I took turns sitting in the van with the sleeping kids while the other went in the house to change, clean up a little and rest because when they got up we got them cleaned up and new clothes on for dinner with Aunt Peggy, Uncle Quentin, my cousins Cody and Colin. Colin was in town from college in California. We had some great Chinese food from this place in Burien called Wakues. The kids where really good and we had a great time. (Sorry no photos from there) It was so cute tho I wish I had my camera, maybe my Uncle got a photo of it though. There was a couple there who was in their e60's maybe 70's who got remarried and had family and friends there to celebrate and they had a small wedding cake. Wyatt saw it and say pretty loudly "I want some cake daddy!" we all cracked up. But the nice couple brought him a slice of cake later on, Wyatt was giddy and so happy and was so gracious saying "Thank you thank you!" it was super cute. His first "wedding" cake as Grandma pointed out. Hahah!
So that was our day! Enjoy the photos!!
