Thumbs up for the Potty!

We have some exciting things going on in our house! For one we are all feeling much better after a few weeks of colds and allergies going around sometimes a few of us got it twice....lucky us. But we are feeling much better now!!!

Nash is working on potty training. His choice, for the past few weeks he has been using the potty before and after bath. Then a few days ago he started asking to go during the day and thats when we kicked it into high gear and he is going most of the time in the potty (except at night) and wearing big boy underwear. He has shown interest in the past but nothing ever panned out with it, I don't think he knew what the feeling was he was looking for to tell him he had to go, and we didn't push it. We just this past year fully potty trained our 4 year old after a chronic bout with constipation. So we were over the moon with that to say the least. Nash we felt wouldn't be ready for a while. Once again he does it on his own time. James and I just giggled with excitement last night when he went into the bathroom on his own and much to our surprise pooped in the potty and told us to "Go look" but thats Nash. Wont do anything unless he can master it usually right from the start.

We are planning a visit to North West Trek with my Mom and Aunt at the end of July. The boys I think will like it. I think Wyatt will love to ride around and see the animals and Nash usually loves anything he can sit on our lap and "look" at things like a movie or in this case animals like a zoo. So we will see. James even has a friend at work that got us coupons/discount tickets so that was a nice treat!

The 4th is coming up, look for my weekend post for more info on how our family celebrates the 4th!
