More photos from our "Glowstick" Fireworks tonight. Bright colors, fun photos, and the best part quiet fun! We got all of these at the dollar store, some come in packs with more than one, the wands came alone. We had a few hours of fun with these tonight and the boys feel like they got to do something fun for the holiday! :) Read Jordan Family 4th for more holiday news!
Loads of fun! We always have glowsticks during our hew year craziness. Two year's ago, the older kids cut them open and sprayed them on each other, then turned out the lights. all fun and good until we realized the walls were covered, too! So, this year, they did that part outside. Not sure about the chemical aspect of it all, but the fun and laughter for the preteens and teens (and, some adults, too!)was high!
We go back and look at these photos often the boys loved it and the part after of looking at the photos was a extra bonus, they could SEE there fireworks after the fact! :)

That is a GREAT idea! What a fun (and noise free) way to get visual stimulous -- did the kids like the photos too? I would bet they loved them!
Thanks for posting,
