Summer Time Blues

Summer is here and unfortunately our house and mother nature didn't get the memo. The weather has been 99% rainy and yukkie and one of us has been sick for weeks now passing things back and forth and creating new things just well because its fun of course. :/

Wyatt was starting to understand why he didn't have school during the summer, he would say to me "No more school its summer time and we are going to the water park!" unfortunately we have yet to visit the water park. We did get to the pool last weekend but it was freezing (the pool, the weather was one of our nicest days we had in a long time for once) and now with ear infections all around the pool will be off our schedule for a little while at least.

But some nice things come from being stuck at home and sick. We have spent some quality time together as a family. Cuddles, movies, naps on the couch, all of those can be rare with two active toddlers in the house.

So I came to blog and complain about our sick few days at home, and poor us.....but actually its been peaceful for the most part. We are starting to get back into our activities (still no spray park yet lol) and the kids are bouncing off the walls once again and ready to get out, but the quiet naps and cuddles were nice while they lasted.
